Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to painting and decorating services provided by Freelance Painters Marlborough Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”).
1. Quotes & pricing
Quotes are provided free of charge. Prices are based on the scope of work discussed and inspected at the time of quoting. Additional work identified once a job is underway (for example, hidden rot, prior surface failure, or extra preparation) will be discussed with you and quoted separately before we proceed.
2. Scheduling & access
We will agree a start window with you in advance. Weather and site conditions can affect exterior work, and we may reschedule where it is unsafe or unsuitable to paint. You agree to provide reasonable access to the areas to be worked on, along with power and water where required.
3. Workmanship guarantee
We stand behind our workmanship. Where a defect is due to our application, we will put it right at no charge within the agreed guarantee period. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by structural movement, moisture ingress, third parties, fair wear and tear, or product failure outside our control.
4. Materials
Unless agreed otherwise, we supply quality trade paints and coatings suited to the surface and conditions. Manufacturer product warranties are passed on to you where applicable.
5. Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Invoices are payable by the due date shown.
6. Liability
We take care to protect your property while on site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
